Experience requirements Mocador

  • Aimed at people aged 14 and over.
  • Cost 95€ per person
  • Maximum of 2 people per session.
  • No previous experience is necessary.
  • Duration approximately 90 minutes.
  • It includes music, refreshments or tea and a fun atmosphere.
  • All materials are included, as well as the pre-drawing, fixing, washing and ironing of the silk.

PROGRAMME OF THE EXPERIENCE:

  1. Our experience begins with a captivating participatory didactic talk, where students are immersed in a stimulating environment adorned with decorative materials and inspirational displays.
  2. Through an interactive presentation, we will explore together the fascinating history and art of silk painting, arousing your curiosity and active participation.
  3. We will then move to the prepared tables, where the pupils will have the exciting opportunity to get down to work. They will each paint their own silk fabric, choosing from three pre-selected designs related to Valencia. These designs will provide them with a creative base on which to develop their own style.
  4. Participants, through the basic concepts and fundamental techniques of silk painting, will explore a variety of colour application techniques, mixtures and effects that will enable them to create visually captivating compositions. As they discover the magic of silk painting, they will be able to express their creativity and enjoy artistic freedom.
  5. Once the silk fixing process is completed, each participant will take home a 70X70 cm silk scarf, a true masterpiece. This elegant accessory can be worn in style, adding a touch of sophistication and originality to any outfit.
  6. In addition, if they wish, participants can frame their creation and display it as a real work of art, showing their talent and creativity to family and friends.
